That's right. Robert "Fighting Bob" LaFollette was state's governor and one of the leading Progressives of his time. "La Follette has been called arguably the most important and recognized

So what, I wonder, would he say about the state's turn to GOP conservatism in recent years. Just last week a legislative committee released proposals that will, if enacted, erode tenure and end shared governance for faculty at the state's public universities.

Meanwhile conservative Governor Scott Walker, who has been union busting since he gained office, is now one of the Republican mob seeking the party's presidential nomination next year. Take a gander at the look on Fighting Bob's face (above). Did he see what was coming? Is he rolling in his grave?
